Parents' Comments....
Thank you to those of you who completed a feedback form during parents' evening in March 08. We received over 100 responses. These indicate a positive response to both teaching and learning and the progress children are making, and parents clearly feel that their children are happy at school.
97% of respondents said they were satisfied with the teaching and learning in their child's class.
92% said they were satisfied with their child's progress.
89% said they have enough information about how to help their child at home
97% said their child is happy at school.
The majority of parents could think of nothing to suggest an improvement, and of those who could, they included giving information about events sooner and further improve the use of planners.
In response to these comments, staff looked again at communication through planners and you should now be seeing more consistency of use throughout the school. Also, all staff are trying to give information about events sooner (particularly visits to church, etc., where parent helpers are needed).
